We are a team of 12 students studying the design and engineering degrees in industrial design at the Elisava School of Design and Engineering. The Final Degree Project (hereinafter, TFG) is the academic culmination of our four-year career. As Elisava students we have decided to face the technical and functional design of an electric motorcycle, fulfilling the requirements to compete in the BSMC 2019.
To achieve this objective, we have taken advantage of the wide range of knowledge acquired in the different fields of industrial design and design engineering, obtained in recent years at Elisava. We form a multidisciplinary group to obtain a global and complete team that is capable of working on all aspects of the project design, production and implementation process.
From 15 to 21 July, Elisava Racing Team competed in the Barcelona Smart Moto Challenge 2019. The BSMC evaluates motorcycles in aesthetic terms, where it assesses the technical aspects, the design and the business plan, and is highly valued in dynamic terms, where it values acceleration, maneuverability, speed and resistance of the motorcycle.
The list shows the excellent performance and potential of the motorcycle.
The team won a total of 5 awards with Eray motorcycle:
Eray is a suburban utility motorcycle
by Elisava Racing Team.
ERAY is an agile and electric motorcycle designed to be able to drive both in the city and in the country. It is a feeling of speed and at the same time connectivity, not only between the motorcycle and the user but also with their surroundings, whether in the city or in the country.
